Named after the former occupant of the original premises, a children’s day care centre, Mykita adopted not only the German word Kita, but the ethos of curiosity and play. Founded in Berlin in 2003, Mykita developed their own manufacturing tools and processes to create innovative details like hinge-less construction and technology-driven weightless and comfort. Hot notes of neon colour and boldness of shape reinforce their appeal of youthfulness and fashion forward thinking.
